Trevor Brewster seeks representation in a dissolution of marriage action against his wife, Flavia Brewster. The parties have been married for approximately twenty years and have two children together. Each party also has one child from a prior relationship. During the marriage, the parties acquired a marital residence, a rental property, and Florida 529 college savings plans for the children.

Prior to the marriage, Trevor acquired an ownership interest in his grandparents' home with his two siblings. Trevor has received rental income from that property both before and during the marriage. The income has always been deposited into a bank account maintained solely in Trevor's name.

The parties maintained a joint household account into which they deposited portions of their paychecks for payment of household expenses. While Trevor was traveling for work, he discovered that the account balance had been reduced to approximately 50 and that mortgage and household bills remained due. Trevor transferred funds from his separate account to cover household expenses.

Upon returning home, Trevor found that Flavia had moved out of the marital residence. Flavia later informed Trevor that she used funds from the joint account to secure an apartment deposit. Trevor retained proof regarding the withdrawal of funds.
